▷ the more you know▶ SIGHT: Alana stands 5'4" in her bare feet, but it's not often you'll see her that way. Much of the time, she can be found in heels. With dark brown hair falling past her shoulders, blue eyes, and pale skin, she's in pretty good shape for someone who often spends much her days seated indoors. No known scars or marks.
» STYLE: Alana's sense of style is very professional chic, on the sexy side of professorial. Her wardrobe is understated and stylish, featuring lots of bold but dark colors and pencil skirts. She has a weakness for Diane von Furstenberg wrap dresses. She wears prints of all kinds, usually blouses paired with skirts in solid hues.

▶ SOUND: American accent. Alana has a somewhat husky voice, usually soft, gentle, even sweet. For the most part, she sounds calm, even-keeled, her words carefully measured out. ▶ SMELL: Alana rarely wears perfume of any sort. There's just the scent of warm skin, paper, sunlight-musty rooms. ▶ DEMEANOR: Alana has such a quiet, understated presence in day to day life. She's sensible, subtle, practical, the kind of woman you can tell is a steady rock, certain and grounded. There's a warmth and a calm to her that, for many people, make her easy to talk to. What's more difficult at times is discerning how Alana feels. She's so practiced at remaining neutral that this is often her default mode in dealing with strangers. She makes people feel heard, but doesn't necessarily convey her reaction to what she hears at first. She's a cautious, discriminating person, one who weighs her words carefully in difficult situations, who both doles out wise advice and follows it.
She doesn't intend to be a cipher, however. Alana makes a point of being as honest as she can be. She can be funny and sly and charming, but mostly she's just honest and easygoing.
